How To Run a Marathon: 1 Mile at a Time...

The Seattle Marathon is on Sunday. I think my fitness is good enough to warrant my original decision to run the full. I have run a few 18+ milers in preparation, but it's a marathon and anything can happen. 26.2 miles is a ridiculous number to wrap your mind around.


I was back and forth about changing to the half marathon because I know I can run close to a 1:30. Sometimes you just have to go for it. The marathon will be scary...scary good or scary bad I have yet to find out. I will know soon enough. Regardless I plan on having fun, I appreciate the opportunity to run.
